We are seeking a skilled WordPress Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migrating website content to WordPress, ensuring SEO optimization, responsiveness across all screen sizes, designing new landing pages, and maintaining overall quality assurance. The candidate should possess technical expertise in configuring and troubleshooting WordPress, plugin issues, various WordPress themes, and page builders like Elementor and Divi. Responsibilities: • Migrate website content to WordPress platform while ensuring accuracy and consistency • Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines • Ensure website responsiveness and compatibility across various devices and screen sizes • Design new landing pages to enhance user engagement and conversion rates • Proficiency in writing compelling and optimized website copy, meta descriptions, and other content to improve SEO and engage visitors • Maintain clean and efficient coding... practices to ensure website performance and scalability • Perform quality assurance checks to maintain website functionality and performance • Configure and troubleshoot WordPress core, plugins, and theme-related issues • Customize WordPress themes according to project requirements • Utilize page builders like Elementor and Divi to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience in ensuring websites are accessible to users with disabilities • Basic understanding of server administration, hosting environments, and domain management to troubleshoot hosting-related issues and ensure website security and reliability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in WordPress and SEO to suggest improvements and enhancements • Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed Requirements Requirements: • Proven experience in migrating website content to WordPress platform • In-depth understanding of SEO principles and techniques • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP • Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, configuration, and customization • Experience in troubleshooting WordPress core, plugin, and theme issues • Familiarity with popular WordPress themes and page builders like Elementor and Divi • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards • Effective communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred) Preferred Qualifications: • Certification in WordPress development and SEO • Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics • Familiarity with version control systems like Git Apply Job!
