Urgently Hiring: Graphic Web Designer

We're looking for a reliable person to join us as a Graphic Web Designer! This role is located at our Remote facility. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. This straightforward role comes with a dependable salary of a competitive salary.

 

 

Seeking a freelance web designer and graphic artist for potential remote position (full/part-time). Ideal candidate should be: • Independent • Collaborative • Resourceful • Capable of creating websites and graphics meeting Tansley's standards The role can transition from freelance to permanent remote work. Role • Create responsive website design based on pre-approved architecture; • Ensure compliance with the brands and graphic standards, uniformity and compliance of graphic production throughout the production process; • Collaborate on the team’s graphic reflections; • Perform validations and quality control; • Collaborate with the various teams of the marketing department; • Make photo retouching; • Create various graphic designs for different purposes (ex. social media post, stationary, etc.); • Be on the lookout for trends; • Present mock-ups for review and follow-up, as well as diligent validation of work performed. Strongly Suggested • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position or any other related position deemed relevant; • Training in graphic design, computer graphics, or other related topics is an asset; • Excellent knowledge of user experience (UX), ergonomics and web design; • Understanding of the specific needs of the retail business; • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Xd, Photoshop and Illustrator (Adobe Creative), Canva and Elementor; • Web experience (required); • Excellent knowledge and understanding of transactional site interfaces; • Bilingualism in french and english is an asset; • Basic knowledge of Web/HTML production; • Knowledge of the Google Workspace cloud environment. Attitude • Creativity, versatility, sense of organization and thoroughness; • Good creativity and “good eye” for graphic design; • Good critical sense and self-criticism; • Excellent ability to adapt to change and to work under pressure • Ability and reliability to meet fixed and sometimes tight deadlines; • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously; • Good judgment and ease in managing priorities; • Sense of organization and great autonomy; • Good listening skills, and ability to maintain good relationships with co-workers.
