About the position The Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance and Reporting at Verizon is responsible for overseeing regulatory reporting and compliance within the Public Policy team. This role involves collaborating with legal and state government affairs teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to regulatory agencies, managing regulatory requirements, and developing tools to streamline processes. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities • Maintain an active list of required regulatory reporting and ensure timely and accurate filing with regulatory bodies. , • Track inventory of bill messages required by regulators and manage related budgets. , • Support regulatory attorneys in handling formal and informal cases and complaints across various states. , • Independently resolve multiple regulatory requirements and provide analysis and advice on compliance matters. , • Stay current on state and local regulatory compliance requirements and ensure adherence. , • Become fluent in Verizon's wireless and wireline product portfolio. , • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce burdens. , • Develop new tools to enhance workflow efficiency. Requirements • Six or more years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, reporting, or risk management. , • Experience preparing formal reports. , • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic environment.
