Job Title: Remote YouTube Video Editor (100% Work From Home) Location: Remote from Latin America Position Type: Full-time Salary: $2,000 - 3,000 USD/month depending on experience Schedule: Monday to Friday, must be reachable from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm CST. 2 minimum meetings per week: one 30-minute and one 60-minute team meeting each week to maintain communication and collaboration. Other meetings may be scheduled, as needed. Job Overview: We’re looking for a Video Editor who is passionate about joining our client's mission to change lives. Your work will directly support their goal of educating, entertaining, and inspiring parents about how to create better opportunities for their families. By helping them build an engaging and impactful YouTube presence, you’ll play a vital role in spreading their message and reaching more families who need them. If you’re mission-driven, creative, and ready to make a difference through killer video editing, we want you on our client's team! Responsibilities: • Edit short form video content • Edit long form video content (cut up into short form content) • Create amazing thumbnails that get clicks • Write video descriptions that are SEO friendly and help viewers find our content • Create and maintain a content calendar • Schedule edited videos • A/B Test thumbnails, titles, descriptions • Work closely with the team to align YouTube content with the overall marketing strategy and company goals. • Analytics reporting for YouTube channel, content concepts, hooks, etc. • Provide feedback, ideas, and critiques of what could be done better to expand reach • Come up with ways to test videos so we always make better videos for our audience • Create and manage end screens, info cards, and other in-video YouTube features to increase viewer retention and direct traffic to related videos. • Audience research including understanding and analyzing audience demographics, interests, and behavior to refine content strategy. • Trend monitoring to stay up to do date on YouTube trends and algorithm changes • Conduct competitor analysis to analyze competitors’ YouTube channels to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for growth Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies: • Skilled Youtube editor (we want to see what you’ve already done) • Ideally competent in Adobe Premiere (but different editing software is fine too) • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for thumbnails and branding elements • Proven skills to repackage edited video content for different platforms like LI, TT, Instagram, and X when needed. • Open Minded and creative – we want your ideas and your skill • Willing to give feedback and take feedback - we want to grow • Start up mindset - we are growing quickly, and need someone who takes responsibility, and is willing to go above and beyond. • We place a huge emphasis on communication.
