Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Advanced Math Summer Camp Instructor for a dynamic remote position. This engaging 3-week residential summer camp is designed for students eager to strengthen their conceptual understanding and advanced problem-solving abilities in mathematics. Instructors will have the opportunity to inspire young minds and foster their passion for math in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities As an Advanced Math Summer Camp Instructor, your primary responsibilities will include: • Delivering stimulating and interactive lessons aligned with the camp’s math curriculum. • Fostering a positive and collaborative learning atmosphere that encourages student participation. • Tracking student advancements and providing constructive feedback to enhance the overall academic experience. • Assisting with various camp activities such as student check-in/out, study halls, and evening seminars as required. Required Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities. • A talent for motivating and engaging students in a dynamic educational setting. • Strong expertise in math concepts and curriculum tailored for grades 6-12. Qualifications Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications: • A bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, a STEM discipline, or a related field. Candidates pursuing or holding a graduate degree are encouraged to apply. • Proven experience teaching math to students in grades 6-12, with familiarity in math contests such as AMC 8, AMC 10/12, or AIME being highly desirable.
