Lowe's is hiring for Customer Support Loader In addition to providing excellent customer service, you must also have physical stamina to help load heavy items into a customer's vehicle What You Will Do: Offering advice and recommendations to customers who require guidance in making their purchase decisions: • Engaging with customers in a helpful and polite manner, providing guidance and solving issues they may have. • The duty of obtaining, transporting, and re-stocking merchandise. • Providing Safe and Dependable Assistance in Moving Merchandise for All Parties. To aid customers in loading their merchandise into their cars and to restock shelves for upcoming shoppers are the main tasks of the Customer Support Loader. This position requires frequent lifting and moving of goods, necessitating safety precautions. Travel Requirements: Though travel is not a regular aspect of this role, there may be times where travel is required for attending meetings, trainings, or to offer assistance to nearby stores. We have a clear understanding of the skills and characteristics required for the role we are hiring for: • Full-time and part-time employment status is determined by the number of hours an employee is expected to work. A full-time schedule generally entails 39 to 40 hours per week, while part-time schedules require up to 25 hours per week. However, additional hours may be necessary based on the store's operational requirements. • We seek individuals who can commit to being available in the morning, afternoon or evening, any day of the week. • Ability to engage in job duties that may require extended periods of standing, sitting, or any other requisite physical activities to achieve work requirements. • The fundamental prerequisite is the capability to lift 25 pounds unassisted, but it is feasible to hoist more than that with or without aid. Success is not always about getting everything right the first time, but learning from failures and using them as stepping stones to success: Minimum Qualifications: • Within a 6-month period, I had a chance to build up my competencies in using a computer, predominantly in executing data-related assignments such as data inputting, modifying, accessing, and outputting. • Gained six-months’ worth of expertise using widely-used retail technology equipment such as smartphones and tablets. • Being able to obtain sales-related licensure or registration is a necessary competence in the field. Preferred Qualifications: • Six months of experience in the retail sector. • To be considered for a Loader position, candidates must have worked for at least six months in a home improvement or hardware retailer. • To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have completed a 6-month period working in any department at a Lowe's retail store. • My 6-month-long experience in retail merchandising has exposed me to numerous responsibilities, including Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping, which I am adept at. • With half a year of proficiency in any domain, capable of inspecting, relocating, loading and discharging materials or goods from transportation modes.
