Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic instructors to provide impactful, personalized 1-on-1 and classroom instruction to high school and middle school students. Our goal is to mentor students and equip them with essential academic skills, and we invite you to embark on this fulfilling journey with us... Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging academic and test-preparation instruction across the Chicagoland area. • Foster supportive relationships with students while maintaining a professional demeanor. • Manage your calendar effectively using Microsoft Outlook. • Communicate promptly with administrators, students, and parents. • Exhibit classroom management skills and uphold professionalism in both in-person and remote teaching environments. • Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development sessions. Required Skills • Proficiency in English, math, reading, and science. • Strong communication abilities to build positive student relationships. • Competence in maintaining an accurate calendar and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. Qualifications • A bachelor's degree in any discipline. • A proven commitment to diversity, inclusion, and promoting educational equity. • A genuine passion for fostering student success. • Capability to teach all subjects covered on the ACT. • Availability to dedicate at least 10 hours per week for instruction. • Reliable access to a computer equipped with a webcam, microphone, and a robust internet connection for virtual instruction. Compensation And Benefits • Competitive compensation starting at (30/hour for 1-on-1 tutoring and )47/hour for classroom teaching, with opportunities for performance-based increases every six months. • Tutoring at our Winnetka office offers a starting rate of $45/hour. • Flexibility to create a schedule that meets both your needs and those of our students. • Comprehensive training programs with stipends to support your learning and development. • Travel reimbursement available for school programs that require commuting over 30 minutes or more than 15 miles.
