Position: Remote Bookkeeper We are a reputable remote business management firm focused on delivering exceptional bookkeeping and accounting support to small businesses. We seek a dedicated and meticulous professional who is enthusiastic about providing top-notch service and contributing to our clients’ success. As our ideal candidate, you possess extensive experience in bookkeeping, with a natural ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions. You are organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while upholding a high standard of accuracy in your work. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining precise financial records and executing various accounting functions with an emphasis on professionalism and timeliness. Key Responsibilities • QuickBooks Proficiency: Expertise in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. • Accounts Payable/Receivable: In-depth knowledge of managing AP/AR functions. • Financial Reporting: Analyze and verify financial reports for accuracy and consistency. • Problem Resolution: Detect and rectify discrepancies in income and expense accounts. • Tax Preparation: Prepare and file Sales & Use, Property, and City/County Annual Taxes. • Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll operations and ensure timely tax payments. • Collaborative Teamwork: Work harmoniously with colleagues while maintaining organization and precision. • Time Management: Exhibit excellent skills in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Required Skills • Proficient with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. • Strong grasp of financial reporting, AP/AR, and tax preparation. • Capability to resolve discrepancies and uphold clean financial records. • Experience in payroll management is advantageous. • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to operate autonomously. Qualifications • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting, particularly with QuickBooks. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure.
