Virtual Care Veterinary Technician - Teletriage

We believe in bringing humanity back to veterinary medicine, and we’re looking for a passionate, compassionate, and skilled Credentialed Veterinary Technician (referred to internally as Veterinary Nurse) to join our growing Virtual Care team. Available Schedules:
- Part-Time Teletriage: Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun | 5p–10p PST
- Full-Time Teletriage (Evening/Overnight): Fri–Sun | 5p–3a PST & Wed/Thurs | 5p–10p PST
- +$2/hr differential for hours worked between 12a–6a (local time)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Engage with members via chat, phone, and video, providing support and education on their pets’ health and well-being
- Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge, offering recommendations and ensuring accurate information
- Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance
- Document clearly and accurately in patient records using veterinary terminology
- Verify and process prescriptions, ensuring appropriate follow-up for client requests
- Deliver top-tier client care with empathy and warmth, whether over chat, phone, or video
- Follow protocols, maintaining consistency while adjusting to each unique case
- Collaborate cross-functionally, providing feedback to improve processes and systems
