Job Description: Looking for a compassionate Home Care Attendant to provide daily living assistance and emotional support to clients. No healthcare experience required, but it's a plus. You must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening. This job requires getting up close and personal with clients, so excellent personal hygiene practices are a must. Responsibilities: • Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping • Run errands for the client • Monitor and document clients' vital signs and health status • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals • Communicate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide updates on clients' health status • Please note that this position requires you to get up close and personal with clients. You must be comfortable providing physical care and have excellent personal hygiene practices. Prior Job Experience that aligns well (Not Required but would be beneficial): • Previous experience as a caregiver or in-home care attendant • Nursing assistant or certified nursing assistant (CNA) experience • Home health aide or personal care assistant experience • Experience working with elderly, disabled or terminally ill individuals • Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings • Experience with medication management and administration • Experience with basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and changing dressings. • Experience with meal preparation and housekeeping • Experience with mobility assistance and transportation.
