React Performance Optimization Engineer
React Developer, Frontend Emphasis, Some Backend Work (React, CSS, JS, and PSQL) Design Goals / Objective We are building a multi-company, project-based, worker management, software system intended for organizing all administrative, communicative, and financial facets of a business. We are designing the system with the following guiding principles in mind. 1. Provide the greatest level of abstraction over a tight, solid structure. Promote diverse configurations while keeping user actions predictable. 2. Ensure that the system enables the maximum level of automation per user task, minimizing time-to-action. 3. Maintain simplicity throughout user experience. Avoid limiting, hierarchical design, leverage relational structures. 4. Build atop sustainable base structure and implement data collection in the hopes of facilitating future AI integration. We have currently developed a prototype-level version of the platform in Tailwind-React and an accompanying REST API. Consequently, our needs have risen to the level of requiring an addition to the development team who is not only talented, but also dedicated to fostering a meaningful, collaborative culture enabling the entire team to succeed. Technical Needs / Job Requirements The system's API and website platform is currently comprised of the following tech stack. The majority of tasks related to this position will be in line with developing and improving the frontend website, wherein scripting is accomplished with JS,HTML, and CSS. For the back end, we are utilizing several google cloud hosting services - the Docker-contained API server is written in JS and accesses google cloud storage and psql instances. While knowledge of user authentication, security, and database management would be highly valued for work on the API, it is not a requirement for this position. Our specific needs have to do with dynamic loading and rendering of React components as we have developed a window-dashboard environment. As the platform has grown in features and given that a large portion of visual elements were boiler plated using AI, lack of optimization and technical knowledge has resulted in poor performance which we need help rectifying and improving.If you believe that you have the necessary technical and professional experience to help us rectify said performance issues and you are all in on our design goals, please contact us Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week
