Our team of physicians, advanced practice nurses, and support staff are always ready to help families. The ENT team works closely with many other specialists--including those in Audiology, Speech Pathology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology and Respiratory Care--to meet all our patient's needs.ConditionsThroat and airway

• Congenital and acquired defects
• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)

• Tonsil and Adenoid diseases
• Tonsillitis/Strep Pharyngitis
• Voice and resonance disorders, including velopharyngeal dysfunction (VPD)

Ear

• Acute and Chronic Ear Infections
• Conductive Hearing Loss
• Ossicular Dysfunction
• Ear Drum Perforations
• Mastoiditis
• Cholesteatoma

Nose and Sinus

• Congenital (born with) or acquired (developed over time) head and neck problems
• Nose Bleeds
• Nasal Obstruction
• Sinusitis

Registered nurses provide illness management and health promotion for patients and families who require care. • Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate plan of care for the patient and family that promotes optimal patient outcomes.
• Meets the educational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered.
• Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree current employees hired before September 1, 2013 are grandfathered and permitted to continue in the direct care nursing role.

• No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred for all direct care nurses hired after September 1, 2013. Direct care nurses hired after this date without a BSN, must complete their degree within 5 years of their hire date.

• No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
• One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
• One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
• RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO

• Employees must obtain multistate licensed RN - KS or MO within 90 days
