Are you a university student who would like to lend your expertise to train AI models?We partner with organizations to train AI large language models, helping to develop cutting-edge generative AI models. Projects typically include discrete, highly variable problems that involve engaging with these models as they learn. There is no requirement for previous AI experience.About the opportunity:Outlier is looking for talented university students to help train generative artificial intelligence modelsThis freelance opportunity is remote and hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for youYou may contribute your expertise by…Crafting and answering questions in your field to help train AI models.Evaluating and providing feedback on AI-generated responses to ensure quality and relevance.Candidate Profile:Educational Background: Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate university program, across any discipline (e.g., STEM, Math, Humanities).Communication Skills: Able to explain complex concepts clearly in English.Detail-Oriented: Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style for clear, professional responses.Payment:Currently, pay rates for core project experts in the U.S. are between USD $15 - 50 per hour.Rates vary based on expertise, skill assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. For example, higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, such as during initial project onboarding or project overtime phases, lower rates may apply. Certain projects offer incentive payments.
