Job Description: Language on Demand (LOD) is seeking skilled transcriptionists to support a federal government contract. This role involves transcribing both classified and unclassified materials, requiring a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Work will include investigative and administrative recordings with multi-speaker dialogues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately transcribe recordings, ensuring complete and error-free documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive materials.
• Proofread and audit transcripts for accuracy.
• Follow specified formatting and quality standards for transcript deliverables.
• Ensure transcripts are compatible with E-Discovery software such as TextMap or Relativity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of transcription experience.
• Fluency in English, with strong grammar and editing skills.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is a plus.
• Active Tier 4 (moderate risk) or Tier 5 (high risk) security clearance is required for classified work.
• Proficiency with transcription tools such as USB foot pedals and software like GearPlayer4.
• Experience with E-Discovery software (e.g., TextMap or Relativity).

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work under tight deadlines with high accuracy.
• Experience with multi-speaker and complex recordings.
• Familiarity with AI transcription proofreading tools.
