Claims Health Care Analyst - SQL

Position Purpose: With the Fidelis Care New York Health Plan, the Health Care Analyst provides claims analytic support to one or multiple departments and develops a variety of complex ad hoc, production and/or trend reports to support business decisions and operational processes for internal and external customers. Financial Analysis Surveillance of Fee Schedule Updates Adhoc Projects Quality Review of Team Members Financial Analysis Fee Schedule Updates (Medicare/Medicaid) Designs, develops, documents and maintains databases to aid reporting and processes Verifies accuracy of data May ensure reports are reviewed for regulatory reporting requirements Supports the development of online management information systems and standardized reports May recommend operational changes or actions based on analytical conclusions Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Accounting or related analytical discipline preferred. Minimum two years experience manipulating and analyzing data from large relational database files. Preferred Skills: Healthcare Claims experience Strong Excel, SQL and Snowflake skills Advanced written and verbal communication skills Fee Schedules (Medicare/Medicaid) experience Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
