Job title: Inventory Manager Company: Standlee Premium Western Forage Job description: Position Summary The Inventory Manager develops, implements, and maintains all the procedures and protocols regarding proper inventory control for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information. They are also responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of the organization. Their duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing a company's accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. Essential Functions of the Position · Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures. · Examine the levels of supplies, raw material, and finished foods to determine accuracy. · Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory. · Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments. · Perform analysis to predict potential inventory problems. · Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, and financial regulations · Assisting with accounting month-end close procedures · Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data · Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc. · Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities · Maintaining accurate financial records · Organizing periodic physical count of all company inventory · Other duties as assigned by manager Key Success Factors for Position · Excellent knowledge of data analysis · Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP) · Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports · An analytical mind with strong math skills · Excellent organizational and planning skills · Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities · Reliable and trustworthy · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal · Ability to streamline workflow processes and make appropriate recommendations · Detail oriented and organized · Expert-level knowledge of working with spreadsheets is crucial · Understanding of mathematics, accounting, and financial processes · Demonstrates ethical behavior Experiences / Education Requirements · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field · Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position · 3+ years of experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment · Experience with accounting and financial software · Experience with ERP Systems / Internet Applications · Inventory Principles and Valuations PI189001827 Expected salary: $50000 - 65000 per year Location: Kimberly, ID Job date: Thu, 18 Aug 2022 07:52:48 GMT Apply for the job now!
