ON-CALL Senior Economic Mobility Consultant (REMOTE ROLE)
ON CALL SENIOR ECONOMIC MOBILITY CONSULTANTICF is actively seeking an On-Call subject matter expert for our growing economic mobility practice. In this role, you will contribute to projects that promote positive outcomes for vulnerable families. Areas of responsibility may include:
- Provide subject matter expertise in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), job readiness and supportive services, child support, food security, or related programs.
- Advise research and/or technical assistance teams in delivering high-quality economic mobility projects.
- Help to identify opportunities that align with ICF’s objectives to promote economically mobile and secure families.
- Advanced degree in political science, public policy, sociology, or a related social science subject.
- 25+ years of experience in economic mobility programs, ideally in executive leadership at the county and/or state levels.
- Demonstrated success (9+ years) in the government consulting environment with specific emphasis on coaching, technical assistance, and training.
- Deep expertise in the Social Determinants of Health as they relate to economic mobility.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment, completing tasks on time and to high standards of quality.
- Solid team builder and team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives, and stakeholder needs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, oral, interpersonal and written communication skills, including experience with developing and delivering presentations and technical writing.
- Capacity for a fast-paced, matrixed environment; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to navigate variability in assignments with work ranging from 0-20 hours/week.
