BenefitsNot Eligible for Benefits: With the exception of Workers' Compensation coverage, not eligible to participate in the District's benefit programs.Position Summary InformationScope of AssignmentScope of Assignment:Under the general supervision of the Division Dean for the discipline, will provide lecture and/or laboratory instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules; evaluate progress of students; advise student s concerning educational matters, and perform, other related duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Any bachelor's degree and two years professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience in Geographic Information Systems. Desirable QualificationsDesirable Qualifications:Experience in the field and or teaching at the community college level. Desirable Professional Characteristics Example of DutiesExamples of Duties:Teach lower division college courses in the subject listed; preparation of materials; grading student work; maintaining an effective classroom environment and workspace.
