- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at strategic clients within Life Science sector
- Provide value-add consulting with Strategic Thought Leadership leading to direct solutions
- Understand and support development of client goals, strategies, and challenges
- Document client account strategy, including client organization structure, corporate goals, investment strategy, and decision makers, etc.
- Develop business opportunities within current accounts and help establish new accounts
- Oversee the organization of client engagement team including the proposal development process and formulation of proposal pricing strategies and ensuring delivery excellence
- Secure buy-in for proposed solutions from decision-making client management
- Develop the client success strategy and appropriate deliverables
- Develop and lead overall delivery engagement strategy, planning, and budgeting exercises
- Provide guidance to technical teams on the requirements of innovative work packages
- Ensure development of adequate staffing and engagement plans in collaboration with client executive stakeholders
- Ensure mobilization of delivery team to drive success in alignment with client expectations
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of work products, while overseeing financial and risk management tracking
- Ensure adequate client communication strategy is in place, providing key project information across scope, schedule, and cost, and driving decisions necessary for successful delivery
- Maintaining profitability on the account and ensuring engagements meet C&F profitability targets and guidelines
- Showcase deep knowledge and experience in one or more of the related fields such as:
- Commercial processes: Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Product Launches
- Life Sciences Product Lifecycle: Drug/Device development process, commercialization strategies, and regulatory landscape market launch impacts, etc.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with IT compliance standards across markets (e.g. FDA, EMA, GxP, and others)
- Example Solution Types: Customer 360, Consumer/Patient 360, Market Segmentation, Field Force Analytics, Customer and Product Master/Reference Management, Direct to Consumer
- Lead internal development of C&F’s commercial offerings and capabilities
- Create documentation on C&Fs offerings, practical solutions and methodologies
- Develop thought leadership materials and point-of-view documents
- Participate in public speaking events
- Publish articles in industry media
- Support internal operations in sustainable growth practices and cross team collaboration
- Serve as a counselor and coach; provide input and guidance for the staffing process; actively engage in recruitment and retention activities; offer leadership and support to delivery teams and staff in local offices.
- As needed, build and manage a team of mid-level business development engagement leads, focused on Life Science Commercial Sector business analysis and product ownership
