You will serve as a trusted advisor for clients, helping them maintain financial health by overseeing general ledger functions, monthly reporting, reconciliations, and audits. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who excels in remote collaboration and values building strong client relationships.Accountabilities:

• Deliver monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support clients with budget input, contribution tracking, and managing expenses.
• Oversee reconciliations in coordination with internal accounts payable and receivable teams.
• Manage 1099 year-end vendor processing and documentation maintenance.
• Standardize bookkeeping procedures for new clients and manage special financial projects.
• Participate in audits, client meetings, and team initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 10+ years of professional experience in financial reporting and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and general accounting systems.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated success in client-facing roles with a customer service focus.
• Nice to have: experience with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana), non-profit accounting, and controller-level duties for small to mid-sized organizations.
