The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Molding Operator I you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Operates curing ovens as well as manual and automatic hydraulic heating and cooling molding equipment.
• Monitors molding temperature and pressure.
• Verifies platen/mold temperature per specifications.
• Selects, assembles, molds, disassembles, operates and cleans mold parts
• Reads and deciphers the Phenolic Core molding Characteristics chart

Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start).

• Must be interested and available to work first shift, (6AM –4:30PM, Monday - Thursday), working overtime, and/or short notice shift coverage

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process .Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience using basic measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, protractors, and etc.) to ensure product meets specifications.
• Understanding and ability to read basic CAD drawings/prints.
• Production and inspection experience.
• Possess basic computer skills
• Possess basic mathematical skills and can perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to read and use Micrometer/Calipers
