Your proficiency in VMware infrastructure, including ESXi hosts and virtual machines, will be essential as you configure and monitor our LAN/WAN networks, ensuring seamless connectivity through routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. You will tackle escalated technical issues, assist in disaster recovery planning and testing, and conduct system performance tuning. An Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is essential, along with 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization. A strong working knowledge of Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and proficiency with VMware vSphere and vCenter are critical. Experience in network configuration and management, utilizing tools like Cisco or Meraki, will set you apart. You should have a solid understanding of IP networking principles, including routing, VLANs, and firewalls.Effective troubleshooting skills across servers and networks are vital, along with keen organizational abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills will enable you to collaborate successfully with your team or work independently.
