Job description: Immediate need for a talented Care Coordinator. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in McAllen, San Antonio/Austin (Remote). - Review member file and make appropriate outreaches to coordinate member's Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Adaptive Aid (AA) items.
- Review member eligibility and identify appropriate payers and communicate with DME agencies and PCPs to obtain needed information for requested items.
- New Team members will start training where production needs are identified at the time of hire.
- Team members who have demonstrated proficiency in their area will be cross trained in different pods.
- This is normally after team members have met all required metrics (production and quality) with a tolerable error rate.
- All team members are expected to monitor their own emails throughout the day to address any requests or corrections.
- Team members will address all emails within 1 BD.
- Skills-1 yr experience in the healthcare field, Managed Care/Utilization review/Case Management, Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
- 1 yr experience in the healthcare field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience in Managed Care/Utilization review/Case Management
- Experience working from home/remote
- Microsoft Outlook, Skype for Business, Zoom, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Internet.
- Location: Remote. Employee must reside near McAllen, San Antonio/Austin office.
