Join us on this journey to create a positive impact and make a significant change in the world.This role will be working on our Poe product.About the Team and Role:Our product managers excel at and are responsible for guiding, enabling, and accelerating the efforts of our designers, engineers, and data scientists to build and ship successful products. Even though we've experienced significant growth, we're still a small team where each PM needs to own a significant portion of the product experience, so in this role, you'll have the opportunity to drive company-level impact, influence overall company strategy, and interface regularly with product leadership and the executive team.We're looking for a Product Manager to lead the Growth team on Poe, which is responsible for growing the Poe user base. This includes defining the strategic direction, driving alignment with leadership, fast execution, and drive learnings that inform future work.Responsibilities:Contribute to an early-stage team in a fast-paced, startup environment focused on driving new users to discover, use, and retain on PoeManage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way and willing to do what it takes to make our product successfulResearch and understand the latest in Gen AI in order to inform product prioritiesPartner cross-functionally with engineering, design, product, and data science to gather requirements for, define, build, release, and promote new productsDefine objectives, metrics, and key results to help guide, prioritize, and measure the success of the new productsAnalyze product performance using quantitative and qualitative data to guide product strategyMinimum Requirements:Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “ " (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)6+ years combined experience in Product Management or Data Science3+ years of experience as a Growth Product ManagerExcellent communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, to press, and other audiencesExperience running scaled quantitative marketing campaigns for consumer technology companies (e.g., ad campaigns, email marketing campaigns, etc.)Comfort with SQL, Python, Pandas, and NumPyAdept at using qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisionsPreferred Requirements:A passion for AI and emerging technologiesBA/BS degree in Statistics or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience ideal2+ years of Data Science or Data Analytics experience before Product Management experienceAt Quora, we value diversity and inclusivity and welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including marginalized or underrepresented groups in tech, to apply for our job openings.
