You will be responsible for designing and executing automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute end-to-end automated test cases using Cypress and JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA team members to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test scripts using tools such as Cucumber or Gherkin.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Report, track, and manage defects through issue tracking tools like JIRA.
- Continuously improve test coverage and test efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2+ years using Cypress.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and modern testing frameworks.
- Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, or SpecFlow.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in testing responsive web applications.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
