Data Entry Typist

Position Summary We are seeking a fast and accurate Data Entry Typist to support our growing operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage large volumes of data input with speed and precision. As a remote team member, you will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across multiple platforms and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately type and enter data into internal systems and databases
- Review source documents and correct any errors in data entry
- Perform routine data verification and cleanup tasks
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information
- Meet daily and weekly productivity targets
- Assist with ad hoc data-related projects as required
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data issues or inconsistencies
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain data integrity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in data entry or typing roles (1+ years preferred)
- Exceptional typing speed (50+ WPM) with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with data management systems or CRM tools is a plus
