Customer Service Representative (full-time), Louisville
About the position The Customer Service Representative at Louisville Central Bank is responsible for assisting customers with various banking transactions and inquiries, providing exceptional service while promoting bank products and services. This full-time position requires effective communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to lead sales efforts within the banking center.
Responsibilities
- Perform Teller duties including receiving deposits, cashing checks, and issuing receipts.

- Function as a sales leader, promoting bank services and referring customers to appropriate departments.
,
- Open and close personal and non-personal accounts, ensuring accurate documentation.
,
- Establish and deepen relationships with customers to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional service.
,
- Answer incoming calls, greet customers, and maintain records and reports.
,
- Conduct quarterly audits on tellers and maintain internal controls.
,
- Assist in consumer lending by processing loan applications and payments.
,
- Generate account maintenance requests as needed by customers.
,
- Manage safe deposit box rentals and maintain related records.
,
- Open and close the banking center securely and prepare courier bags for daily runs.
,
- Act as a back-up CVT and perform full CVT duties as required.
,
- Train and mentor new Tellers/CSRs.
,
- Assist with ATM balancing and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
,
- Minimum of one year of previous customer service experience in a retail environment or equivalent sales experience preferred.
,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
,
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
,
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
,
- Ability to lead others in sales and service.
,
- Knowledge of banking products and services preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Teller experience preferred.

- Professional Educator License.
