Service Internship
Join Cummins as a Service Intern in Normal, IL, assisting with chassis and engine repairs. Your Role: Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting senior Technicians with repairs and maintenance on chassis products and engine repair.
- Disassembling, cleaning, and inspecting chassis and components.
- Providing assistance with diagnosing and troubleshooting engine failures.
- Maintaining work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
- Performing general shop maintenance tasks.
- Completing other duties as assigned by management.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Ability to work in an automotive shop/manufacturing setting; mechanical knowledge preferred.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, squatting, and kneeling frequently.
- Basic computer software knowledge is preferred.
- Must be currently enrolled at a College or University, pursuing a degree in an Automotive Technical Program.
Compensation & Benefits:
