Accountant / Bookkeeper for a Financial Consulting Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)
Job Description
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Perform checks of the posting process
- Complete payroll, sales tax and tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Skill Set
- Must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines.
- At least 5 years of experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales tax and payroll bookkeeping experience
- Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent proficiency with technology and computers
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- A BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (preferred)
