About the position Fun Wheatens, a local dog breeder with over 10 years of experience, is expanding its Puppy Boot Camp Training program due to a consistent demand from clients. We are looking for up to three individuals to work from home training our puppies. This position is ideal for those who live within an hour of Spokane/CDA, although we are open to considering applicants who live further away for the right candidate. The role involves training puppies that we breed, specifically our Wheatens and Whoodles, which are non-shedding, medium-sized dogs known for their intelligence. No prior dog training experience is necessary; however, a love for puppies and an understanding of the importance of a well-trained dog is essential. As a trainer, you will follow our step-by-step puppy training program from the comfort of your home. You will be compensated $750 for each puppy that graduates from the program, with a targeted training period of 15 days for each pup. Depending on your availability, you could train between one to six puppies a month. This position offers a high degree of independence, allowing you to decide when to accept training assignments. After demonstrating your ability to effectively train puppies, you may have the opportunity to train multiple pups simultaneously. The training process requires that the puppies stay at your home during the 15-day training period. We provide all necessary supplies, including puppy playpens, sleeping crates, puppy food, collars, and leashes. Daily training is flexible, allowing you to work at times that suit you best. You will need a cell phone to record videos of the puppies during training and send that content to us daily, which will then be forwarded to our clients.
