Job Description

  • The Customer Service Representative (CSR) answers inbound calls from members and providers, inputs data, and provides a high level of customer service, always extending courtesy and professionalism.
  • The CSR handles inbound customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone and email while effectively recording communications accurately and consistently.
  • Will handle about 30 calls a day from various callers, including doctors, patients, attorneys, etc., regarding medical records requests or status updates.
  • Use a computerized system for tracking calls, information gathering, troubleshooting, and assessing needs, explaining programs, and promoting products or services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize caller needs, questions, and concerns, then formulate plans of resolution and respond efficiently.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and collaborate with other teams as needed.Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior experience in a customer service/call center
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Outlook
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, changing environment
