In this role you will lead the vision and strategy for the effective use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to drive organizational growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. • Partner with a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are already developing and deploying applications to the highest standards.
• Design and develop end-to-end AI architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to define AI strategies and roadmaps.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Explore emerging technologies/practices with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to with little or no guidance; incorporate these into architectural solution when appropriate.
• Present AI strategies, architectures, and results to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
• Work in an open, collaborative, trusting and thought-provoking environment, one that encourages diversity of thoughtful and creative solutions; one that supports experimentation with a fall forward culture.

All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or equivalent experience
• 8 years of application systems development experience
• 5 years architectural and design experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline
• 5 years of technical or team leadership experience
• 2+ years of experience leading AI projects and teams.
• 2+ years' Cloud architecture or development experiences in IBM Public and Azure
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
• Experience with MLOps practices and tools.
• Airline industry experience and multiple domain knowledge, including Commercial and Operations areas.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Background in Enterprise/Solutions Architecture or software engineering
• Command of architecture, design patterns and business processes
• Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI and machine learning.
• Expertise in working in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
• Strong technical leader able to drive to outcomes and mentor delivery teams
• Proficiency in data modeling, preprocessing, and analysis.
