About the Role
As the Director of Virtual Care Management, you will take the lead in both the clinical and operational aspects of our fully virtual platform. Working closely with our physician medical directors and executive team, you will develop protocols, recruit and mentor a high-performing clinical staff, and continuously refine our RPM and care navigation services. This position requires a licensed Physician or Nurse Practitioner with an entrepreneurial outlook and a strong commitment to advancing patient outcomes in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Building:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a diverse remote care management team.
- Establish workflows, performance metrics, and best practices for virtual clinical services.
Clinical Oversight:
- Ensure high-quality care delivery and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain alignment with evidence-based practices specific to RPM and care navigation.
Operational Excellence:
- Streamline the entire care process—from patient enrollment to discharge planning—to boost efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the key liaison between clinical staff, medical directors, and technology teams.
- Drive cross-functional cooperation to create a patient-centered experience.
Continuous Improvement:
- Use data analytics and stakeholder feedback to identify and implement innovations.
- Champion performance optimization in all telehealth delivery processes.
Qualifications
Licensure:
- Active and unrestricted Physician or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing (Florida State licensure)
Experience:
- At least three years of progressive leadership or management experience in care/case management (five years preferred).
- Experience with telehealth or remote patient monitoring strongly desired.
Technical Proficiency:
- Comfortable navigating RPM platforms, electronic health records, and data analytics.
Entrepreneurial Mindset:
- Proven ability to implement innovative solutions in a fast-paced, tech-driven setting.
