Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges by providing direct care and assistance. This position requires a strong understanding of mental health issues, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient well-being. Duties ? Assist in the assessment and monitoring of patients' mental health status. ? Implement behavior management strategies to support patients in achieving their treatment goals. ? Provide crisis management support during emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being. ? Engage patients in therapeutic activities, including art therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy sessions. ? Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on gender issues counseling and psychotherapy. ? Support patients with disabilities by adapting care approaches to meet their unique needs. ? Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans. ? Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify individualized care plans. ? Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Candidates should possess experience or training in the following areas: ? Crisis management techniques ? Gender issues counseling ? Behavior management strategies ? Cognitive behavioral therapy practices ? Psychotherapy methodologies ? Patient assessment skills ? Working with individuals with disabilities ? Experience in pediatrics is preferred ?
