Job Overview We seek a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/ Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will be vital in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including acute care, primary care, and critical care environments. This position requires a strong understanding of medical documentation, patient assessment, and ability to perform essential nursing tasks such as catheterization and sterile processing.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and monitor patients' vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records.
- Support patients with behavioral health needs by providing empathetic care.
- Participate in patient education regarding health management and wellness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in acute care, primary care, or critical care settings preferred.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices.
- Ability to catheterize patients effectively and safely.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
