This is a full-time remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while providing essential support to our students across Michigan. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs.
- Provide engaging and adaptive instruction in a virtual classroom setting.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student progress.
- Utilize a variety of digital tools and resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing timely feedback and adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.
- Proven experience in K-12 special education, with a strong understanding of various learning disabilities and instructional strategies.
- Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and technology.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote classroom effectively.
