"Security Data Engineer"

Role: Data Security Engineer Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote Responsibilities: • Implement data pipelines using best practices for ETL / ELT, data management, and data governance. • Analyze and process complex data sources in a fast-paced environment. • Perform data modeling against large data sets for peak efficiency. Identify, design, and implement process improvement solutions that automate manual processes and leverage standard frameworks and methodologies. • Understand and incorporate data quality principles that ensure optimal reliability, impact, and user experience. • Partner across teams to support cross-platform operations. • Create and document functional and technical specifications. • Drive exploration of new features, versions, and related technologies and provide recommendations to enhance our offerings. • Mentor junior engineers within the team Requirements: • Available for engagement during business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm in the U.S Central time zone. • Experience with SAFe Agile and Microsoft ADO • Experience with strategic IAM design and architecture. • Familiarity with FICAM model and HHS Cybersecurity Performance Goals. • Competence with creating and maintaining documentation, reports, and presentations. • Communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively with the project sponsor, the project manager, the project team, and the relevant stakeholders, and use the agreed-upon communication channels and protocols. • Adaptability and flexibility, and ability to cope with changing requirements, expectations, and timelines, and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. • Professionalism and ethics, and ability to adhere to the project's code of conduct confidentiality agreements, and security policies, and protect the client's sensitive data and assets. Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; OR equivalent 5+ years of experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience programming in SQL. 3+ years of experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines and data assets using batch and/or streaming Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $69.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: • Day shift Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
