We are seeking an exceptional Software Developer in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. IGC provides a single place for access to common data, business services and information on material asset visibility and cohesive, integrated data services for the management of supply, distribution, and logistics to the combatant commands, military services, and other federal agencies. Requirements: • Designs, develops, and maintains software applications. Experienced using programming skills to create high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards. • Designs and develops software to meet user needs, and ensure the software is scalable and efficient. • Develops and conducts software testing to ensure the software is free from bugs and meets the client's design requirement • Provides technical guidance and mentor junior developers. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as web designers, product managers, and QA team Minimum Education: Required Skills, and Abilities: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR • Bachelor’s degree (any field) + One of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP Minimum Experience: 5 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies. Master’s Degree with at least 7 years’ experience acceptable. Minimum Clearance: DoD Secret Desired Qualifications: • Working knowledge of Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, MVC, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net.Net/Core in Visual Studio; Computer aided software engineering tools; Scrum knowledge; Fortify; Java, JavaScript, SQL, Psql; SQL server, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB; GIS; Cross-Platform mobile development. • Scrum Master Certified or AWS Certified Developer. • USTRANSCOM IT Systems Experience Place of Performance: REMOTE • Leads the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Experienced using advanced programming skills to create high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards. • Manages application developers with SQL tuning, data modeling, data refresh, code migration, performance testing and physical database design. • Designs and develops software to meet user needs, and ensure the software is scalable and efficient. • Designs, implements, PL/SQL codes, tests and maintains Oracle PL/SQL code and functionality • Supports development teams with database object creation, PL/SQL, procedures, triggers Minimum Education: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR • Bachelor’s degree (any field) + One of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP Minimum Experience: 10 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies. Master’s Degree with at least 7 years’ experience acceptable. • Minimum Clearance: DoD Secret Desired Qualifications: • Working knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Java, Python, or Shell scripting • Informatica Certified Professional (ICP) and/or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Place of Performance: Remote.
