Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality transcription services from audio and video files, ensuring each document is error-free and accurately reflects the source content. • Convert various forms of audio communications, including interviews, meetings, webinars, and podcasts, into well-structured, formatted written documents. • Edit and proofread all transcripts to ensure high standards of quality, grammar, and accuracy before submission. • Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to understand specific formatting requirements and project deadlines. • Utilize specialized transcription software and secure cloud platforms to manage and deliver projects on time. • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client data and sensitive information, adhering to established security protocols. • Identify opportunities for process improvements in the transcription workflow and propose innovative solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications & Skills: • Proven experience in transcription or typist roles, with a demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy and speed in a remote setting. • Excellent typing skills, with a minimum speed of 65 words per minute and a keen eye for detail. • Proficiency in using transcription software and familiarity with digital file management systems. • Strong command of the English language, with outstanding written communication and editing skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with various audio file formats and a strong ability to interpret different accents and dialects is a plus. • Excellent time management skills, with a proactive approach to meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
