Part-Time Data Scientist Assistant

Job Summary: This position will work with hockey data to fulfill given directives as well as the ability to create new projects and communicate results. This role will be part of a team-based environment in the hockey analytics department. Here is a unique opportunity to create impactful solutions in a growth-minded environment and culture. May work local or remote. Required Qualifications: ? Computer Science, Math, Engineering or Physics major or degree ? Experience writing modern Python code ? Experience using SQL or NoSQL databases ? Familiarity with Git/VCS ? Ability to write geometric and physics analyses ? Ability to problem solve and a desire for personal development ? Experience working in a team-based environment ? Ability to interpret results and communicate effectively Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience/knowledge of statistics and probability ? Experience working with time series data ?
