This position is a full-time, 10 month exempt position beginning August, 2025 or sooner. Responsibilities : This IDEAS Faculty member focusing on computer science and Esports (6 - 12) will report to the Head of Upper School and will be responsible for teaching/redesigning a variety of Upper School Computer Science courses as well as collaborating with other IDEAS@PDS teachers. This position will foster an interest in computational thinking at the US level through class visits, guest speakers, and curriculum. This position will include heading the middle and upper school ESports program. This individual will serve as an advisor for Upper School Students. Qualifications: A bachelor?s degree is required. It is preferred that the degree be in Computer Science or a related field. Experience in working with the Google Suite of apps is desired. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience and/or a willingness to teach AP Computer Science courses. Additionally, a growth mindset is needed to teach courses in an evolving program.
