Java Fullstack Developer | Hybrid| Cary - NC Opticca has a great opportunity for a Java Full-Stack Developer who is passionate about building secure, highly scalable, and robust web applications deployed on-premises or in the cloud. Essential Functions ? Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: design, development, integration, test, and delivery. ? Work in an open and agile environment, iterating quickly and often arriving at the best solutions that make our client's products better for their users. ? Collaborate with UX Design Lead, product managers, and network service platform developers to implement cutting-edge solutions. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience 6+ years of relevant experience with ? Agile practices ? Unix/Linux and Windows development environments ? Eclipse, GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, Jenkins, SonarQube ? JAVA programming ? Highly scalable micro-services development ? Spring Boot, Spring, Web Service REST, JaxB ? React, Redux, REST, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, Node.js, Webpack ? REST web service development ? Test Driven Development (take full ownership of our code and its quality.) ? Relational databases such as Oracle or Percona ? Experience in the energy industry is a strong asset ( electric or water ) ? Experience with Kendo, InfluxDB and Grafana are a plus. Education & Certification ? A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a relevant discipline ? Certification related to application programming and database is highly desirable. Personal Attributes ? Demonstrates creative, technical, and analytical skills. ? Highly motivated, self-direct and attentive to detail ? Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. ? Excellent team player ? Willing to travel to work onsite in our client's offices 1 - 2 times per week. Contract details - This position is open to 1099 or C2C: 6 month contract with extension possibilities - Hybrid job: once to twice per week are required to go onsite.
