Digital Solutions Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day As a Software Developer of Digital Solutions at Siemens Energy, you will be instrumental in advancing our digital transformation initiatives. This role entails designing, implementing, and optimizing digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency, improve end-user experiences, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in digital technologies, process automation, and data analytics, along with a strong passion for innovation and continuous improvement. How You?ll Make an Impact ? Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and implement digital transformation strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. ? Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions using technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and machine learning. ? Design and deploy data analytics platforms and tools to enable real-time data collection, analysis, and visualization. Provide insights to support data-driven decision-making. ? Integrate digital solutions with existing systems and platforms to ensure seamless operation and data flow across the organization. ? Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption of digital solutions by stakeholders and end-users. ? Ensure that digital solutions comply with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements. Implement measures to protect data privacy and integrity. What You Bring ? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. ? 2+ years of experience in process digitization, manufacturing automation or a related. ? Proficiency in programming languages, scripting (RPA), and SQL databases. ? Proficiency with distributed version control systems (GIT). ? Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and data analytics and knowledge in VB.NET and C#.NET (MS Visual Studio) is advantageous. ? Familiarity with Oracle SQL, T-SQL, and Snowflake is a plus.
