Associate Director, SAP S4H Source to Pay Accounts Payable Lead (Remote)

About the position The Accounts Payable Lead at RTX Corporation will play a crucial role in the oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation initiative, focusing on optimizing business processes and implementing SAP's S4 HANA ERP system. This position involves leading complex projects related to Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, and Disbursements, ensuring compliance with policies and driving transformation within the Supply Chain processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management and ERP systems, particularly in the aerospace and defense sector. Responsibilities ? Lead & support long lead time projects, priority initiatives and blueprinting. , ? Partner with other leads to ensure a common consistent process and adherence to project change controls. , ? Monitor S2P design compliance to RTX and BU policies & FAR / DFAR requirements. , ? Validate claims that design requests are necessary because of contract compliance. , ? Participate in pathfinder/proof of concept activities. , ? Use key design decisions to drive dependent activities. , ? Assist in defining business value and use cases associated with the ERP program and define the execution strategy (roadmap). , ? Manage projects ensuring on time schedule, within budget and meeting all technical requirements as defined by the team. , ? Provide technical, business and AP guidance to the S2P project team. , ? Foster relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and business partners. Requirements ? Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field and 12 years' of relevant work experience (or 10 years with an Advanced Degree). , ? Experience leading large, complex A&D enterprise projects. , ? Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and their impact on business processes. , ? S2P Workstream Knowledge: Sourcing, Procurement, Contracting, and Vendor Management. , ? Experience working with cross functional/cross business unit teams on high visibility projects with strong business acumen. , ? Experience working with teams to define and implement IT Solution architecture or software. , ? Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders and external third parties. , ? Ability to understand business processes, identify and mitigate risk. , ? Effective written and verbal communication skills. , ? Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities with limited oversight. , ? Extensive Accounts Payable experience. , ? Mastery of Invoice Processing and Disbursements. , ? Understanding of Vendor Master and procurement Processes. , ? Strong knowledge of SAP including interface functionality. , ? Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and other analytical tools. Nice-to-haves ?
