Come be a part of our mission. Northrop Grumman is seeking a Digital Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. What You'll Get To Do • Identify the right digital engineering processes and tools to use to solve our customers challenges • Implement digital engineering processes, such as MBSE, Performance Modeling and Simulation, and integration of MBSE with Simulations • Consult with teams and engineers, including direct participation in working sessions, to provide guidance, and help them work through challenges related to digital engineering • Some engineers are new to Digital Engineering, and you’ll help them get up to speed and become effective practitioners • Help our customers understand the value of digital engineering, how it works, and make it more accessible to them • Ensure we’re employing Digital Engineering properly to meet customer requirements, e.g. major milestone meetings and CDRL deliveries Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with years of systems engineering experience; or 2 years’ experience with a Master’s degree • Active Secret clearance at time of application • Familiarity with MBSE Modeling (Cameo Enterprise Architecture) • Familiarity with DODAF architecture views and diagram creation • Familiarity with MPLM tools (Teamcenter) • Experience working with cross-functional integrated product teams • Expertise with MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Preferred Qualifications • Experience with ANSYS modeling and simulation of satellite objects • Familiarity with scaled compute cluster development, hypervisors, and network engineering • Familiarity with Radar systems and operations • Familiarity in Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum, etc.) Salary Range: $81,300 - $121,900 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
