The Director, Analytics & Insights, is responsible for leveraging analytics and insights to recommend actions that will enable strategic business decisions and solve complex business problems. In this role, you will drive analytical insights for unlocking greater business performance, and overall sales and traffic performance of the Tim Hortons Brand in the US, for both our established legacy markets and our new emerging markets. The position oversees a team of 4-5 and reports directly to the VP of Marketing. Role & Responsibilities • Generate the business insights, guest insights, and industry insights that drive key business decisions with the objective of building profitable sales and traffic growth strategies • Oversight for sales and traffic performance, through Category Analysis, Performance Analysis, Sales Planning and Pricing • Monitor the effectiveness of national marketing programs and prepares post-program presentations highlighting key learnings and opportunities. • Lead the analysis and presentation of sales performance by marketing activity, service channel and other relevant factors on a weekly and monthly basis to various teams across the business including the Marketing and Field Operations team • Drive material impact on business performance through the analysis of general and specific trends, year-over-year sales, key regional and product mix difference across multiple data sources • Execute in-depth analysis for long-term strategic projects including digital enhancements to operations equipment (i.e. menu boards, kiosks), revised restaurant formats, new market entry approach, etc. • Act as a key strategic partner by providing strong critical-thinking and conceptual problem-solving skills; Comfortably debate complex issues, gain insights, interpret data and synthesize learnings. Qualifications • 7+ years’ related professional experience • Deep analytical expertise and a strong understanding of the QSR landscape • Experience using tools such as SAP Business Objects or SQL queries to extract and manipulate data, and working with Data Visualization Software such as Tableau. • Resilient and thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment working on multiple projects simultaneously, with a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness. • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. • Proven people manager, comfortable leading a team through multiple competing priorities and while supporting strategic projects • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal and presentation skills; Comfortable speaking both to internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders and franchisees • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics Analytics business or a related field a plus #TimHortons Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness.
