Technical QA Test Analyst 3

Role: Technical QA Test Analyst 3 Location: Warren, MI (Hybrid work) Duration: Long term Rate: Market Top 3 Mobile QA Skills: 1. Mobile Testing and validation experience - would strongly prefer someone that has done mobile app validation in testing/staging environments as well as a production like environment. 2. Documented experience reviewing stories/features (aka requirements), writing a test case step by step (experience with RQM preferred) and opening up a defect/bug with all the requirement information so that issue can be reviewed/analyzed by development (experience with TFS preferred). 3. Experience with using VehicleSpy, Charles Proxy and NeoVi tool Additional Notes from the Manager: Looking for someone that can grasp technical features. Must be self-direct - motivated to go get the work (not wait for it to be assigned to them). Features that we get are integrated with a vehicle so experience working with infotainment systems would be beneficial. Need a driver - someone that will ask the "whys"? Take responsibility for a feature - own it - end to end to ensure it's launched successfully and defect/bug free. Feature owners are held accountable to ensuring there are no post-production defects in their space. We are a fairly laid-back team. Work rotates on a bi-weekly basis with a new release so they need to be able to move quickly and support a changing environment (always getting new code to validate). High profile environment as more features are getting integrated into a mobile device because everyone has a phone. Can laugh but yet be focused to get things done. The A-Team There may be some driving of vehicles as part of this job - our features within the mobile app all communicate with the vehicle. We are currently hybrid - if you need to be in the office to get your work done, that is where you need to be. This will change based upon feature assignments which rotate every 2 weeks based upon new releases. Validation of the my [Brand] Mobile app: • Write specific test cases in RQM (Rational Quality Mgr) to cover appropriate level of validation for new features. • Execute/Implement new feature and regression test cases from RQM as defined by our release team. • Attend requirements sessions/SPRINT reviews as needed based on feature assignment. • Participate in triage sessions as needed to solve issues. • Open defects in TFS (Team Foundation Servers) as needed w/ appropriate details. • Offer technical knowledge of end-to-end system components of mobile application, back office infrastructures and vehicle infotainment system as well as how they integrate. • Provide feedback during test case peer review • Participate in daily stand up and defect triage meetings • Able to use Vehicle Spy created scripts to execute test cases from already created scripts on an Infotainment Bench • Communicate effectively across multiple organizations - Development, Product Owners, Validation Engineers, etc. Apply Job!
