Description Software Developer Intern The Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Software Developer Intern. In this role, you are responsible for supporting application development. The applicant will need to be bright, imaginative and a capable technologist specifically seeking a smaller environment where their potential will be maximized through the challenging projects that increase productivity and efficiency. This internship is a twelve week program located out of our corporate office in Kalamazoo, beginning in early June. What you'll be doing: Assists with the development of new features with Online Banking Work with Product Manager, other software developers and users to determine needs and development requirements Design, develop, implement and test software solutions Create software that integrates with other software systems Recording work/project progress on a weekly basis Documentation of processes and solutions created Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing and processes by monitoring trends in existing systems What you'll bring to the table: Progress in college degree with computer science focus or equivalent work experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build web-based applications: including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines Ability to communicate clearly with business users, product managers and other software developers. Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive user interfaces Ability to construct user guides and documentation Project management skills preferred Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET preferred Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, Angular, VBScript, HTML, XML, JSON preferred What you didn't know about the team: At Consumers, you're joining a team that works closely together and counts on one another.
