The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs. This is with the Launch Control Systems Gateway team, which does networking interfaces to SLS, Orion, and the Launch Control Center. Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related discipline. Familiarity with C/C++, automated testing tools, source control required. Networking and packet capture analysis experience preferred. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Excellent communication and customer interface skills required. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. This position will require full on-site work, Monday through Friday, until completion of the first 90 days of employment. Upon completion of your first 90 days, telework options will be made available (3 days on-site / 2 days remote). Telework opportunities are based on satisfactory job performance.
