Part Time Software Engineer

Kavaliro is seeking a part time Software Engineer to support a client in Virginia. The hours allotted for this role are 10-20 per week. Required Skills: REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE The Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience: • Demonstrated experience with Linux. • Demonstrated experience using Docker and Linux containers. • Demonstrated experience developing in Python and interacting with REST APIs. • Demonstrated experience working with AI/ML applications relating to automated document triage and natural language processing. • Demonstrated experience working with third-party applications such as Docker. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE Skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not required to perform the work include: • Demonstrated experience with application security, setting up application certificates, user access control, and working with component security officers. • Demonstrated experience in technical writing or documentation skills, including the ability to communicate work completed and maintenance processes.
